1. Mission
Our mission is to make CFS/LGSF design information easier to review, organize and share from a browser, without requiring every collaborator to install fabrication software or work from disconnected screenshots.
ABOUT
LGSF Market is built by a product and engineering team focused on practical IFC review, protected model handling and workflow tools for CFS/LGSF design, fabrication and project coordination.
Our mission is to make CFS/LGSF design information easier to review, organize and share from a browser, without requiring every collaborator to install fabrication software or work from disconnected screenshots.
The platform is being shaped around IFC upload, secure preview generation, model inspection, frame layout review, 2D drawing review, structured data extraction, controlled sharing and market-ready presentation.
LGSF Market is not a generic model gallery. The product direction is centered on light gauge steel and cold-formed steel workflows where frame groups, openings, layouts, member data, drawings and production outputs matter.
The team prioritizes reliable file handling, clear permission boundaries, browser performance, useful review data, export workflows and a UI that can be connected later to backend entitlement, storage, processing and marketplace systems.
Uploaded models should begin as protected project data. A user should be able to inspect detailed model information privately first, then decide whether to keep the asset private, share a temporary link, publish to Lobby or prepare a Market listing.
The platform is designed to support designers, fabricators, engineers, builders, reviewers, clients and manufacturers who need a controlled way to view, discuss and route IFC model information.
The long-term marketplace direction is to help complete, well-presented assets stand apart from rough uploads by encouraging richer descriptions, images, tags, preview quality and commercial-rights clarity.
LGSF Market is not a building authority, engineering certifier, source software licensor or fabrication approval body. The product provides workflow tools; users remain responsible for professional review, rights clearance and production verification.
The launch experience should feel useful even before a user becomes a paid member: upload should be easy, viewing should be clear, and the value of member workspaces, controlled sharing and exports should be visible without pressure.
